About me
Hi, I’m Bud. I’m deeply passionate about climate justice, financial empowerment, and supporting organisations to grow with purpose.
I currently organise Tabiea, a climate action campaign engaging Arabic-speaking communities in Western Sydney. Tabiea is a partnership between the Nature Conservation Council NSW and the Arab Council Australia, focused on building community-led climate solutions.
I’ve worked in the banking and financial services industry since 1989 and now, as a finance and mortgage broker, I help individuals and families navigate their financial needs with confidence.
With a lifelong involvement in business, I’ve developed experience across sales, marketing, business development, risk management, and operational management.
Beyond my professional work, my interests include social justice, philosophy, and researching the history of my ancestral homeland across the Fertile Crescent.

With over 37 years of experience in business and finance, and more than 11 years in the community sector, Bud brings a strong blend of commercial expertise and community-focused leadership.
